Anti-Doping education programme. iPlayClean has been developed in association with the IOC to provide information about doping to reduce any potential temptations, and is specifically aimed at high level athletes aged 14-18.
Therapeutic Use Exemption. A TUE allows an athletes to take a substance that is on the banned list.
TUE’s are given to athletes if they require a substance to treat an illness or condition.
Erythropoietin. A dangerous banned substance which aids the movement of oxygen in the body, but can increase the risk of a stroke or tumour.
Human Growth Hormone. Used to increase muscle mass.
